The HKUST Business School/NYU Stern School of Business is collaborating with South China Morning Post  and the Treasury Markets Association to organise an upcoming Global Finance Seminar on “The capital market and corporate investment”, examining the forces at work and discussing the trade-offs involved.

  • Why listed firms invest less and are less responsive to change than similar unlisted firms
  • Observable patterns in industries where stock prices are particularly sensitive to current profits
