Global Finance Seminar Series -
Global Asset Management: Strategies, Risks, Processes, and Technologies
We are delighted to have Prof Ingo Walter, Seymour Milstein Chair in Finance, Corporate Governance and Ethics at NYU Stern, to kick-off the first Global Finance Seminar Series in 2014 in Hong Kong. Prof Walter is also one of the founding MSGF Academic Directors, and he also teaches Risk Management in Financial Institutions for our Program.
Deriving from the insights of 2007-08 financial crises and its aftermath, Prof Walter discussed complex and dynamic issues that confronted the global asset management industry, such as risk management, regulation and governance, operations and technology etc. Some 80 participants, including current students of the NYU Stern MS in Risk Management program from New York, MSGF alumni and current students, as well as Stern alumni, attended the seminar, making it a fabulous networking opportunity for executives from different locations.
